The future is created through dialogue:

Together for more sustainability.

01

The company:

EEW Energy from Waste is a leader in the generation of environmentally friendly energy from waste.

At 17 plant locations in Germany and Europe, the company employs around 1,400 people to process around 5 million tonnes of waste into electricity, district heating and process steam every year.

Our task:

With its sustainable business model, EEW Energy from Waste makes a significant contribution to solving global challenges.

An overarching, convincing and credible communication approach is needed to convey this sustainable position internally and externally.

03

Our way:

As a basis for communication that brings people together and enables the new, we develop the creative guiding principle of “Let’s talk about:tomorrow”.

  • The 2020 Sustainability Report marked the start of communication in line with this principle.
  • In the following year, the dialogue with stakeholders is continued on a broader level.
  • Interviews on topics relevant to the future attract attention in the Sustainability Report 2021.
  • A film format with dialogue documents the attitude and energy with which EEW tackles sustainability issues.
  • A microsite informs about sustainability activities, enables continuous exchange and promotes dialogue.
  • Numerous internal and external communication measures help to ensure that the basis for discussion leads to more knowledge, more cooperation and more pioneering projects.

“We’re talking about tomorrow today. It is decisive to prove what has been said, and that is exactly how we benchmark ourselves. That’s why the concept about:tomorrow is just right for us.”
